Entertainment was a publishing brand formed in 1989 when Oxford Digital Enterprises joined forces with Entertainment International (UK) Ltd.. Empire remained a registered trademark of Entertainment International (UK) Ltd. at least until 2001. The brand name was used throughout the entire Empire group of companies including Empire Interactive Europe Ltd., the main headquarters of Empire.
